Takeo Honma Gallery of the Reader Collection of Japanese Flower-and-Bird Art

Takeo made more than thirty screenprints in which flowers and (or) birds were part of a landscape scene. They were drawn in a true-to-life way but it was sometimes difficult to identify the species depicted because of their small size. Ten examples are shown below. Click on a picture to enlarge it.
